Sage

300.00

A common culinary herb with strongly aromatic leaves used as a flavouring in cooked foods. Can be eaten raw in salads etc. A tea can be made from fresh or dried leaves and is said to aid digestion.

Sage is an easy-to-grow plant that doesn’t demand a lot of care. It has a long growing season and is one of the few herbs that doesn’t lose intensity in flavor after flowering.

Sage seeds germinate in 7 to 21 days at a soil temperature of 20C. Don’t plant deeper than 1/8″ deep. Sage requires sunlight to germinate.

Avoid planting in close proximity to Rosemary. Rosemary and Sage do not get along and the Sage will at best struggle, at worst die off!
