Beetroot – چقندر

Sow seeds on ridges or in ground about ¾ inch deep in well-drained fertile soil. Cover with the a thin layer of soil. Keep a distance of 4 inches between the plants and 8 to 12 inches between the rows.

Beets enjoy full sun but they can also grow well in partial shade.
Keep the seeds consistently moist. But don’t overwater. Water every week or ten days.
Sow seeds every 15-20 days to have a steady supply during the whole winter season.
Mulch the plants with organic matter.
